HF gas is a common medium for certain chemical processing. In high temperature hydrogen fluoride, Ni201, monel400, inconel 600, C-276 and 00Cr16Ni65Mo2Ti alloys all have suitable corrosion resistance, and have been successfully applied to practical engineering. Some corrosion test data are shown in Table 2-24 and Table 2-25.
Fig. 2-23 and Fig. 2-27 are corrosion test results of some corrosion-resistant alloys in high-temperature HF gas. Obviously, in various HF gases, Monel 400, NS 3301 (00Cr16Ni75Mo2Ti), and NS 3304 (C-276) three The best corrosion resistance of the alloy. However, in the HF above 600 oC, intergranular corrosion occurs in the Monel 400 alloy. In contrast, NS3301 and NS 3304 do not suffer from intergranular corrosion.
Note: In Figure 2-24, Figure 2-25, Figure 2-26, and Figure 2-27, the ratio of HF to H 2 O is the mass ratio, and the ratio of aqueous HF to air is the volume ratio.
