Spheroidizing annealing

Spheroidizing annealing is the heat treatment method that the steel or blank is heated slightly above Ac1 20 ~ 30 C for a certain period of time, so that the secondary cementite in the steel spontaneously transforme into granular cementite, and then cooled slowly to Room temperature.
Spheroidizing annealing is mainly applied to eutectoid steel such as carbon tool steel, alloy spring steel and alloy tool steel, and the common analysis of steel (the mass fraction of steel is more than 0.77%)
The purpose of the ball annealing is to reduce the hardness, uniform organization, improve the machinability, prepare for quenching organizations.
