On June 26, China Baowu Taigang Group Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. announced that TP347H stainless steel pipes successfully won the bid to export high-temperature boiler pipes for thermal power units in Thailand, and three contracts for nearly 200 tons have been signed. At present, Taigang’s stainless steel pipes for power plant boilers have ranked first in the domestic market share for three consecutive years, among which the market share of high-grade boiler pipes has reached more than 50%.
Taigang is the earliest enterprise in my country to develop high-grade stainless steel boiler pipes. Over the years, the Taigang technical team has conducted a lot of basic research and production practice around material properties, and high-temperature boiler pipes have been continuously upgraded. In recent years, the high-quality heat-resistant seamless steel pipes for ultra-supercritical power plant boilers above 620℃ developed have more excellent resistance to high-temperature steam and coal ash flue gas corrosion, forming a heat-resistant alloy design theory technology for long-term service under high-temperature and high-pressure corrosion environments, reaching the international advanced level. The new product C-HRA-5 heat-resistant austenitic stainless steel pipe can be used for 630℃-650℃ ultra-supercritical units. It is the highest grade stainless steel boiler pipe currently in the application stage in my country. It has many characteristics such as high aging stability, high high temperature endurance strength, and good corrosion resistance. It marks that TISCO’s high-grade stainless steel boiler pipe has taken another important step towards high-end development.
The TP347H stainless steel pipe that won the bid this time is mainly used for high-temperature superheaters, high-temperature reheaters, high-temperature sections of screen superheaters, and various high-temperature and high-pressure resistant pipe fittings of large power generation boilers with supercritical pressure parameters. It is one of the most mature varieties of TISCO’s high-quality heat-resistant boiler pipes, and has accumulated tens of thousands of tons of supply and application performance.
